Thelma Kathryn Arnold (Rock)

Born July 15, 1931 to Thomas Burl Rock and Mary Alice Justus Rock. Died at 94 years old on February 26, 2026. Predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Troy Lewis Arnold, and their infant son, Edward.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Carol Frasure, Thomas Arnold and wife Susan, Phyllis Truman and husband Spencer; Grandchildren Andy Frasure and wife Maggie, Zoe Bones, Christy Akina and husband Dave, Mike Arnold (Diane Jehn); Great Grandchildren Callie and Caitlyn Akina.

Thelma was a sweet, loving person with a good sense of humor and a hard worker. Her goal in life was “To be a good Mommy,” which she excelled at. She also had a career as a seamstress in the textile industry. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting and played the piano and organ beautifully by ear. Over the years, she created projects to help others by making bandages for the mission field, purchasing dolls and sewing clothes for them to provide to children, making quilts for an entire kindergarten class, and sewing adult bibs for people in nursing homes.
